About the Client
Domaine Alice Hartmann is a historic family-owned wine estate with roots in Luxembourg dating back more than two centuries. In 2019, the current owners began an international expansion with a new Napa Valley initiative: a collection of wines shaped by California terroir and informed by a European philosophy of precision, patience and place.
The Napa Valley project draws from distinctive vineyard sites across the region, including Oakville, Howell Mountain and Mount Veeder. Each wine reflects the character of its origin, from the depth and structure of mountain-grown Cabernet Sauvignon to the refinement and balance of Napa Valley blends.
Our Collaboration
For the Napa Valley project, Caleidos Visual partnered with Domaine Alice Hartmann to create a digital experience that introduces a new California chapter while remaining connected to the history, sensibility and standards of the original domaine.
Working through a collaborative process of creative direction, visual development and website design, we shaped a refined platform centered on story, terroir and the individual character of each wine. Photography, video and drone footage bring the vineyards and landscape into the experience, while a clear editorial structure guides visitors through the domaine’s story, vineyard sources and wine collection.
Our Work Included:

The Result
The new Domaine Alice Hartmann Napa Valley website offers an immersive and refined introduction to a distinctive wine project at the intersection of European heritage and California terroir. The platform gives each vineyard and wine a clear narrative space, allowing visitors to understand both the individuality of the sites and the philosophy that connects the collection.
Built as a flexible foundation for a growing international brand, the website can evolve alongside future releases, new vineyard stories and the continued expansion of the Domaine Alice Hartmann family of wines.
